Cinzia Signorini

Cinzia Signorini was born in Siena, Italy, in 1966. She received a degree in biological sciences (summa cum laude) from the University of Siena, Italy, in 1990, and the Ph.D. degree in molecular and cellular pathology from the Administrative University of Perugia, Italy, in 1995. From 1996 to 2002, she worked as a Graduate Technician at the Institute of General Pathology, the University of Siena, Italy. Since 2002, she serves as a Researcher at the Medical Faculty, Department of Pathophysiology, Experimental Medicine, and Public Health, the University of Siena, Italy. She serves as a teacher at the Ph.D. School of Biology and Cellular Physiopathology, University of Siena. Her areas of expertise concern the involvement of isoprostanes, neuroprostanes, and nonprotein bound iron in different pathological conditions like neonatal oxidative stress, hypoxic encephalopathy, and Rett syndrome.
