Cristina Alcaraz, Ph.D., is a Senior Researcher in computer science at the University of Málaga. She was awarded her Ph.D. in computer science by the University of Malaga in 2011, and she visited Royal Holloway, University of London, in 2012–2014 and the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2011–2012. She has also been involved in European (FACIES) and national research projects (PERSIST, PISCIS, SECRET, and TIGRIS), focusing on topics related to CIP (security in SCADA systems, cyber-physical systems, and Smart Grids). So far, she has more than 45 publications and serves on international conference committees and on Editorial Boards of journals in CIP and information security (e.g., Telecommunication Systems (TELS), Ad Hoc Networks or Industrial Integration and Management (JIIM)).
