Geza Kovacs

Geza Kovacs was born in Papa, Hungary, in 1951. He received his Ph.D. degree from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, in 1981. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Physics Department, the University of Florida at various intermittent periods between 1984 and 1992. He was employed at the Konkoly Observatory in 1975, and he is currently a Senior Research Fellow there. His research interest covers pulsating stars (mainly, nonlinear pulsations) and extrasolar planets (mainly, detection techniques).
