Thomas J. DeWitt works as an Associate Professor at the Departments of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences and Plant Pathology and Microbiology at Texas A&M University. He is a Member of the interdisciplinary groups in genetics and in ecology and evolutionary biology and has been serving at Texas A&M for 11 years. He received his B.S. degree from Grand Valley State University, his M.A. degree from Boston University, and his Ph.D. degree from Binghamton University (SUNY). He did postdoctoral work at the University of Kentucky before assuming a position at Texas A&M University. His research specialties include selection gradient analysis, geometric morphometrics, biometry, evolutionary theory, and biomathematical modeling.
