Weimin Han

Weimin Han received his Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 1991. He has been a Faculty Member at the Department of Mathematics, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA, USA, since 1991, and became a Full Professor there in 1999. Currently, he is the Director of the Interdisciplinary Program in Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences (AMCS) of the University of Iowa, https://www.amcs.uiowa.edu/. He has published 13 books and over 160 papers. His research interests include numerical analysis, numerical solution of variational inequalities, numerical solution of hemivariational inequalities, computational mechanics, and computational engineering.
