Sy-Jye Leu graduated from the Department of Medical Technology of Taipei Medical College, Taipei, Taiwan, and completed her Ph.D. degree at Utah State University, Logan, UT, USA, in 1992. She pursued her research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Medicine, University of California San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA, from 1992 to 1994. She was appointed as Associate Professor of Graduate Institute of Cell and Molecular Biology, TMU, from 1994. Now she is a Professor in Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan.
