Chang Kyoo Yoo obtained his Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Pohang Science and Technology (POSTECH), Korea. His works drew the attentions of academics and industries with the topics of environmental systems engineering and optimal management. In 2003, he continued his postdoctoral research on BIOMATH at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Biometrics and Process Control, Ghent University, Belgium. He joined as a Faculty Member the Kyung Hee University in 2006, where he is currently an Associate Professor taking the responsibility of the Director of Brain Korea 21 Education Program for Environmental Informatics (KOSEF) and the Director of the Center for Environmental Studies (KHU), Korea. He has published more than 120 research papers in peer-reviewed journals until now. Research expertise addresses the environmental management and systems engineering of environmental systems of water, air, energy, and ecological cycles and related issues of indoor air quality of building and underground spaces.
