Paulo A. Nogueira

Paulo A. Nogueira graduated in biological sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, São Paulo, Brazil, in 1991. He obtained his M.S. degree in functional and molecular biology from State University of Campinas in 1994, Ph.D. degree in relation between pathogen and host from Institute São Paulo University (2000), and postdoctorate in host-pathogen relationship from the Mediterranean University, Marseille, France, in 2002. Nogueira serves as a Researcher at FIOCRUZ-ILMD. His research interests include immunology, with emphasis on cell receptors, monoclonal antibodies, molecular biology, gene cloning for expression of recombinant antigens, pathophysiology and immunology in malaria, developing recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and labeled antibody techniques.
