Jun Kim Young received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Korea University, Republic of Korea. He has a Doctorate degree from the Cornell University in the USA. He was a Postdoc Researcher at Department of Biotechnology in Cornell University from 2001 to 2004. Since 2004, he served as a Professor for the Department of Food and Biotechnology at Korea University, Republic of Korea. He was nominated as a renowned Researcher in 2010 Marquis Who’s Who Dictionary and received research award for Research Excellence from Korea University in 2015. He has published over 70 papers in SCI level scientific journals. He served for Korean Society for Food and Nutrition Society for the last 6 years as a Director of science, business, and treasury. He served as a Chair of Advisory Committee of the Department of Economy and Industry in Sejong City for the past 3 years.
