Huang-Ping Yu

Huang-Ping Yu studied at the National Yang Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan, from 1988 to 1995, where he received his M.D. degree, and also at the Institute of Clinical Medical Science, Chang Gung University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, from 2002 to 2006, where he received his Ph.D. degree. He has been working at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taoyuan, Taiwan, as a Vice Chairman at the Department of Anesthesiology, since 2011, and also at the Department of Medical Research and Development since 2013. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a Director at the Division of General Anesthesia, Department of Anesthesiology, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Since 2013, he has been working as a Professor at the same department. In 2005 and 2006, Yu was granted the New Investigators Award in Shock Research, and he serves as a Member of the Taiwan Society of Anesthesiology, the Taiwan Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Shock Society. He is interested in anesthesiology, critical care medicine, and gender dimorphism in organ responses following shock or trauma.
