Jose L. Gonzalez-Andujar

José L.Gonzalez-Andujar was born in Madrid, Spain. He received the Biological Sciences degree and the Ph.D. degree (summa cum laude) from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, in 1985 and 1988, respectively. Since 1995, Gonzalez-Andujar has worked at the Institute of Agricultural Research (CSIC) as a Senior Researcher. From 2000 to 2007, he was the Head of the Crop Protection Department in this institute. Gonzalez-Andujar was the President of the Spanish Weed Research Society, the President of the Spanish Biometric Society, and the President of the Latin American Weed Science Association. In 2003, he was a corecipient of the Horticultural award from the Horticultural Science Society of Uruguay. He has been a member of the editorial board of different scientific journals. Currently, he is a Subject Editor of Weed Research and an Editor of American-Eurasian Journal of Sustainable Agriculture.
