Jean-Jacques Sinou

Jean-Jacques Sinou holds a M.S. in mechanical engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs des Etudes et Techniques d'Armement (ENSIETA). Holding a Ph.D. in mechanics from École Centrale de Lyon, Écully, France, since 2002, he is Professor at École Centrale de Lyon. He is recognised expert in field of nonlinear dynamics and friction and noise induced vibration. He has authored or coauthored about 100 peer-reviewed journal publications. He was a Member of the French National Committee for Scientific Research (CoNRS–Section 09). In 2015, he was appointed as a Junior Member at the Institut Universitaire de France. He is also responsible for the research topic “nonlinear dynamics, damping and uncertainties” at the OpenLab PSA Vibro-Acoustic-Tribology@Lyon. He teaches continuum mechanics and dynamics of mechanical systems at École Centrale de Lyon.
