Yogendra Mishra

Yogendra Mishra is a Ph.D. degree holder and has been working as Senior Research Assistant at Functional Nanomaterials Group, Institute for Materials Science, University of Kiel, Kiel, Germany, since March 2011. Mishra worked as Alexander von Humboldt Fellow from February 2009 to February 2011 at Functional Nanomaterials Group in Kiel after obtaining his Ph.D. degree in physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, in 2008. During his Ph.D. degree period, he worked in the field of plasmonics using gold and silver nanoparticles and published a couple of interesting articles in applied physics letters and nanotechnology journals. During Humboldt period in Kiel, he significantly worked on fabricating 3D metal oxide nanostructured networks. Recently, Mishra was involved in the development of superlight weight carbon‐based aerographite material which strongly attracted worldwide media. He has coauthored several articles in highly prestigious journals like Advanced Materials and Antiviral Research. Apart from his high impact work, Mishra is a Reviewer of more than 50 journals and recently he has been involved in editorial activities as a Guest Editor.
