Olivier Sentieys received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering (signal processing) from the University of Rennes (Brittany, France), in 1990 and 1993, respectively. After completing his Habilitation thesis in 1999, he joined the University of Rennes (at ENSSAT, a Graduate School in Electronics Engineering) as a Full Professor in 2002. He is currently leading the CAIRN Research Team at INRIA (which is the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control) and IRISA Lab. His research interests include numerical accuracy analysis, CAD tools for floating-point to fixed-point conversion, low-power and reconfigurable system-on-chip, design of wireless communication systems, and cooperation in mobile systems. He is the author or coauthor of more than 150 journal publications or peer-reviewed conference papers and holds 5 patents.
