Mattia Borgarino

Mattia Borgarino was born in Parma, Italy, in 1968. He received the Laurea degree in electronics engineering and Ph.D. degree in information technology from the University of Parma, Parma, Italy, in 1993 and 1999, respectively. From 1998 to 2000, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratoire d’Analyse et Architecture des Systems, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (LAAS-CNRS), Toulouse, France. In 2000, he joined the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Modena, Italy, where he is at present an Associate Professor. His current main research interests cover the design of Si-based RFICs and the LF noise in microwave transistors. In 2009, he was a corecipient of a Best Poster Award at the IEEE ICECS Conference and of the Best University Poster Award at the SAME Forum. He was a coauthor of a paper awarded at the IEEE CICC 2009 conference with a student scholarship.
