Maode Ma received his B.E. degree from Tsinghua University in 1982, M.E. degree from Tianjin University in 1991, and Ph.D. degree in computer science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1999. Dr. Ma joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Nanyang Technological University as a Faculty Member in 2000. Dr. Ma has been a principle investigator, coinvestigator, and collaborator for more than 10 projects funded by government and industry. Dr. Ma has published around 90 academic papers in the areas of optical networks and wireless networks. He has been a member of Technical Program Committee for around 40 international conferences and a Session Chair for about 20 sessions on the international conferences. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials and an Associate Editor for other three international academic journals.
