Rosa H. Grande

Rosa Helena Miranda Grande was born in Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil, in 1950. She is graduated in Dentistry (Dentistry Faculty, Bauru/University of São Paulo, 1971) and specialist in Pedodontics (1980). Received the Master degree in Restorative Dentistry at School of Dentistry/ USP (FOUSP, 1990) and the PhD degree in Dental Materials (FO/ USP, 1993) where she is Associate Professor since 2002. For 2 years she was the president of the Research Ethics Committee and of the Library Commission at FOUSP. For 12 years she was the coordinator of the Graduated Program in Dentistry, emphasis in Dental Materials (in CAPES evaluations it ranked a score 5, in a 1 to 7 scale). She has obtained grants from governmental agencies (CAPES, CNPq, FAPESP); act as a scientific reviewer for some journals; she has a researcher´s fellowship from the CNPq since 2001; and is an editorial board´s member at The Journal of Clinical Dentistry and Brazilian Oral Research. She is interested in preventive procedures, mainly the adhesives and minimally invasive.
