James M. McCaw is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow, employed by the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne, Parkville, Australia. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Melbourne in the field of theoretical physics and has conducted research in infectious diseases epidemiology since 2005. His interests range from the study of within host dynamics, virology, and immunology to public health policy research in infectious diseases control, with a particular focus on influenza, pertussis, and malaria.
