Patricia A. Chambers serves as a Research Scientist at Environment Canada, the Canada Center for Inland Waters in Burlington, ON, Canada. She received her B.S. degree from Trent University, Canada, and her Ph.D. degree from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, UK. Her research has focused on a variety of scientific problems, in particular the ecology of aquatic macrophytes and the effects of nutrient loading from agricultural operations, industries, and sewage treatment plants on the chemistry and biology of lakes and rivers.
