Carlo Luciano Bianco

Carlo Luciano Bianco was born in Rome, Italy, in 1977. He got his Physics degree (cum laude) and his Ph.D. degree at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome, respectively in 2000 and in 2004. From 2004 to 2008 he has been research fellow in the University "La Sapienza". Since 2000 he collaborated with ICRA (International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics) and ICRANet research activities about high energy theoretical astrophysics, mainly about Gamma-Ray Bursts. Since 2008 he is researcher at ICRANet. He is presently a member of the ICRANet Scientific Committee. He is also a Member of the Faculty of the IRAP Ph.D. program, an international Ph.D. program in relativistic astrophysics co-sponsored by the Erasmus Mundus program of the European Commission, by ICRANet, and by the Albert Einstein Institute in Potsdam (Germany), the CBPF (Brazil), the "Cote d’Azur" Observatory (France), the ETH in Zurich (Switzerland), the Free university of Berlin (Germany), the IHES (France), the Indian Center for Space Physics (India), the Shanghai Observatory (China), the Tartu Observatory (Estonia), the University of Ferrara (Italy), the University "La Sapienza" (Italy), the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (France), the University of Savoy (France), the University of Stockholm (Sweden). He is interested mainly in relativistic astrophysics and in high performance computing.
