Xinan Yue

Xinan Yue received his Ph.D. degree of space physics from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. He then joined the COSMIC (Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere, and Climate) Program Office of the University Corporation for Atmosphere Research (UCAR) as a Project Scientist. He is responsible for the ionospheric data process, evaluation, support, and related scientific research of multi-radio occultation (RO) missions mainly COSMIC in the COSMIC Data Analysis and Archive Center (CDAAC). His interests include ionospheric/thermospheric modeling (both empirical and theoretical), data assimilation in ionosphere/thermosphere and lower atmosphere, GNSS (both ground and LEO based) data process and corresponding applications, remote sensing, and space weather. He has published ~50 SCI papers as either first or coauthors. He is a Frequent Reviewer for JGR-Space Physics, Radio Science, Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, Annale Geophysicae, and Advance in Space Research. He is also a Member of AGU and AMS.
