Jennifer Fernandez

Dr. Fernandez developed and implemented the Pediatric Residency Program at Brooks Rehabilitation which she operates currently. In addition, she serves as a faculty member for the Neurologic Residency Program, teaching and mentoring in the content areas related to traumatic brain injury. She achieved Board Certification in Neurology in 2010 and achieved Board Certification in Pediatrics in 2012. She received her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Mayo School of Health Sciences. Dr. Fernandez has clinical experience across the continuum, currently maintaining her practice in Early Intervention services in Jacksonville, FL. She has taught entry-level and post-professional education at the local, state, and national level with focus on pediatric and adult acquired brain injury. Dr. Fernandez an appointed member of the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education’s Accreditation Committee and serves on various task forces within the APTA and FPTA.
