Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic

Josef Diblik studied mathematics and mechanics at Odessa State University, Odessa, Ukraine. His Ph.D. thesis, in 1979 at the same university, was concerned with asymptotics of solutions of ordinary differential equations. Since 1995, he has been working as a Full Professor of mathematical analysis at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. Since 2000, he has been serving as a D.S. for mathematical analysis at the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic.
