Sándor Jenei

Sándor Jenei was born in Szigetvár, Hungary, in 1969. He received the Mathematician degree and the Ph.D. degree both summa cum laude from the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, in 1994 and 1993, respectively. Since 1994, he works at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Pécs, Hungary, where he serves as the Head of the Department of Informatics since 2006. He is mainly interested in residuated semigroups in algebra and the related substructural logics. He has received several grants including a Marie Curie IEF grant, an HAESF grant, Bolyai research grant, Magyary Zoltán research grant, Hungarian State Eötvös grant (five times), NATO research grant, CNR research grant, and a DAAD research grant.
