Claudia Anesini works as a Biochemist (1986) and Pharmacist (1990) in the School of pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also serves as an Authorized University Professor at the same university (1994). She received her Ph.D. degree in pharmacology, therapeutic, and toxicology from the University of Buenos Aires in December 1997, with a thesis entitled ?Immunopharmacological study of Argentina Natural Products with immunomodulatory and antitumoral activity? (degree 10/10). Dr. Anesini is a part time Professor in phytotherapy/vegetal physiology, School of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Buenos Aires since 2008 (teaching, coordinating, and planning undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pharmacology of medicinal plants). She also serves as an Independent Researcher in the Institute of Chemical and Drugs Metabolism depending on National Research Council of Argentine (IQUIMEFA-UBA-CONICET) since 2004. She has 72 publications in scientific journals and 86 national and international congress publications, in addition to 5 chapters of laboratory books. Her areas of expertise include pharmacology of natural products, phytotherapy, and phytochemistry.
