Gunawan Indrayanto

Gunawan Indrayanto obtained his Ph.D. (magna cum laude) in 1983 from the University of Tuebingen, Germany. At the present time, he serves as a Professor of pharmaceutical biology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia. He serves as a Member at the National Board of Education (Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan, 2009–2013), and Research Council of Indonesian Higher Education Board (Dewan Pendidikan Tinggi, 2009-2011). In 2008, he was nominated as a Leading Scientist by COMSTECH, and in 2009, he also was nominated as an Excellent Researcher by SEA-EU-NET. He has more than 100 international publications. He served as an editor of 3 national accredited scientific Journals. He also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Journal Planar Chromatography (Hungary), and as a Contributing Editor of Profile of Dug Substances, Excipients and Related Methodology (Academic Press-Elsevier, The Netherlands/USA). He has been invited as reviewer of more than 10 international journals. His research interests are natural product chemistry, herbal medicines and chromatographic analysis, and its validation.
