Zbigniew Jaroszewicz

Zbigniew Jaroszewicz received his Ph.D. and Habilitation degrees in physics from Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland in 1988 and 1997, respectively. In 2009, he received the professor title (awarded by the President of Poland). Since 1986, he is with the Institute of Applied Optics in Warsaw and since 2004 also with the National Institute of Telecommunications in Warsaw. He served as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, the University Jaume I, Castellon de la Plana, Spain, and the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm, Sweden. In 1998-2000, he has held a Professorship in physics at the National University in Medellin, Colombia. Professor Jaroszewicz has organized various international optical meetings, written over 200 papers (over 70 of them in peer-reviewed papers in international journals) and is a Member of Board of the Photonics Society of Poland.
