Yongyong He

Yongyong He was born in Chongqing, China, in 1969. He received the Mechanical Engineering degree and the Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Southeast University, China, in 1991 and 1997, respectively. From 1997 to 1999, He was a Lecturer at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2000, he moved to Tsinghua University. Presently, he is an Associate Professor at Tsinghua University. In 2003 and 2008, he was the Visiting Scholar of the City University of Hong Kong and University of Bristol in UK, respectively. He was awarded Chinese Visiting Scholarship by Crouch Foundation of Hong Kong in 2003. In 2005, he was selected into the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of China. In 2003 and 2006, He was awarded the Science and Technology Advancement Award (2rd Class) issued by Guangdong Province of China and Ministry of Education of China, respectively. He is mainly interested in mechanical dynamics, mechanical fault diagnostics, and nondestructive examination: acoustic emission technique, acousto-ultrasonic technique, signal analysis and process, intelligent diagnosis, inverse problem method for dynamic parameter identification, smart system.
