Neslihan Serap Sengor

Neslihan Serap Sengor received the B.S. degree from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Istanbul Technical University in 1985, and she received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from I. T. U. Institute of Science and Technology in 1988 and 1995, respectively. She joined Electronics and Communication Department, Istanbul Technical University as a Technical Expert in 1986, where she works now as an Associate Professor. She worked as a Visiting Scientist at Circuit Theory Laboratory of Helsinki University of Technology in 2000-2001 and at Laboratory of Computational Engineering of Helsinki University of Technology, in the summer of 2006. Her research interests include nonlinear dynamical systems, artificial neural networks, and computational neuroscience. Sengor is currently working on modeling high-order cognitive processes with biologically realistic systems.
