Valeria Biasi obtained a degree in psychology from the Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. She works as an Associate Professor of psychology at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy. Biasi serves as a Member of the Department of Cultural and Educational Studies of Roma Tre University. Since 2010, she has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Roma Tre University. In 2011, she was appointed as the President of the Commission Staff of the Board of Directors at the same university. She is also registered as a Member of the Albo degli Psicologi and the List of Psychotherapists (Regione Toscana). Professor Biasi is enrolled in different research groups that take part in about forty national and international research projects, sponsored by different institutions, from 1988 to 2012. She works as a Member of the International Council of Psychologists (ICP) since 2006. Professor Biasi's scientific production has focused on phenomenological analysis and experimental research on perception processes and human motivations, emotions, procedures, and effects of psychological conflict, assessment of special personological features with new instruments, and studies on empirical aesthetics and creativity, with applications on educational issues.
