Martin E. Omaña

Martin E. Omaña serves as a Professor of electronics at the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy. He received an M.S. degree (2000) from the University of Buenos Aires Buenos, Aires, Argentina, and a Ph.D. degree (2005) from the University of Bologna. He has been Member of the Organizing Committee of the IEEE International On-Line Testing Symposium (IOLTS 2006) and of the IEEE VLSI Test Symposium (VTS 2011 and 2012). He has been Member of the Technical Program Committee of the IEEE European Test Symposium (ETS 2017 and 2018) and of the Ph.D. Forum Track in IEEE/ACM Design, Automation, and Test in Europe Conference (2017 and 2018). He served as Guest Editor for the special issue on “Sensors and Embedded Systems in Agriculture and Food Analysis” in Journal of Sensors. Since March 2016, He is an Editorial Committee Member of the magazine IEEE Computing Now. He is/has been Reviewer for many international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing, IEEE Transactions on Very-Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) System, IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits, and IEEE Transactions on Device and Materials Reliability. His research interests include design and test of digital systems, design of reliable and error resilient digital systems, fault tolerance, online testing, fault modeling, and design of reliable photovoltaic and energy harvesting systems.
