Brigit Roberts

Brigit Roberts is a Registered Nurse and have worked in the intensive care unit for more than 25 years. In the the latter 15 years, she served as a Research Coordinator, coordinating medical research in ICU, both departmental and multicentred trials as well as working in the university animal laboratory. She has undertaken her own research. Her main scope of interests include ICU delirium in which she has been the Principal Researcher in several published studies both single center and multiple international centres. She has also lead published research into the role of Research Coordinator and has a great interest in safety and quality issues within the ICU environment. Her qualification includes an ICU certificate and she is currently a Member of the National Committee for ICU Safety and Quality and up till recently she has been Board Member of a sedation advisory committee. She has been an Editor for critical care journals, review articles regularly for a critical care group, and she reviewed grant applications and conference abstracts.
