Hung-Chun Chien

Hung-Chun Chien was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1978. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Yuan-Ze University (YZU), Chung-Li, Taiwan, in 2000, and the M.S. (electrical engineering) and Ph.D. (electronic Engineering) degrees from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taipei, Taiwan, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. In 2003, he joined Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (Materials and Electro-Optics Research Division), Lung-Tan, Taiwan, as an Assistant Researcher where he worked in the area of analog circuit and laser technologies. From 2007 to 2008, he served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Since 2008, he has been with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Jinwen University of Science and Technology (JUST), New Taipei City, Taiwan, as an Assistant Professor. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of circuits and systems, circuit theory, active RC circuit designs, and current-mode signal processing.
