Dragan Vukotic

Dragan Vukotic obtained his B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia, in 1985, where he was a SANU Fellow and Teaching Assistant until 1987. He then moved to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, as a TA and on various fellowships, working initially under the joint supervision of Professors Allen Shields (1989) and Peter Duren. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1993 with P. L. Duren. After spending a year as a Visiting Professor at the Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA, he joined the Faculty of Autonomous University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, occupying different teaching and research positions since 1994. During this time, he was also a Fellow of the Spanish Committee on Technology, Visiting Member at the Mittag-Leffler Institute, Djursholm, Sweden, and an Adjunct Member of the ICMAT Institute for a limited time. He is an author of nearly 40 papers on spaces of analytic functions, geometric function theory, coefficient multipliers, composition, Toeplitz and superposition operators, and other topics. He has been an Editor for the Matematički Vesnik and Bulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society and has acted as a referee for about 40 journals. He has been a principal investigator on 4 three-year grants in Spain and an organizer of several international meetings. He is frequently an invited speaker at international meetings.
