Seyed M. Sadrameli

Tarbiat Modares University, Iran

Seyed Mojtaba Sadrameli is a Professor of chemical engineering at TMU, Tehran, Iran. He received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Sharif University, Tehran in 1980, M.S. and Ph.D. degree from Leeds University, UK in 1984 and 1988. During his sabbatical leave in the USA from 2003 to 2008, he worked on the production of hydrogen from biomass gasification at UF (University of Florida) and production of biojet fuel (JP8) from thermal cracking of triglycerides at UND (University of North Dakota). His research interests focus on industrial heat recovery, simulation of chemical and petrochemical processes, thermal energy storage systems using PCMs, and thermochemical production of biofuels from biomass feedstocks. His current projects involve encapsulation of PCM materials for thermal energy storage applications and production of biofuels from thermal and catalytic cracking of triglycerides.
