Alan E. Bilsland obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2002 at the University of Glasgow, UK. He works as a Research Associate at the Telomerase Therapeutics Laboratory of the Glasgow Institute of Cancer Sciences. His interests include cellular immortality and senescence, mechanisms of transcriptional regulation and signal transduction, discovery and development of small molecule and biotherapeutic anticancer agents, and modeling of complex regulatory networks.
