Wai Chee Shiu

Wai Chee Shiu graduated from the National Taiwan University, had a Diploma of education in 1985 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and obtained his M.S. degree, his M.Phil. degree, and his Ph.D. degrees from the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, in 1983, 1989, and 1993, respectively. He has worked at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) since 1989 and occupies the post of an Associate Professor now. He has taught linear algebra, mathematical analysis, graph theory, number theory, algebra, and so forth at HKBU. He has published over 158 papers in international journals. He has coauthored A First Course in Statistics with E. H. Li and C. K. Liu, published in 1997 by Hong Kong Education Publishing Company in Chinese. He coauthored Elementary Discrete Mathematics and Elementary Number Theory with K. K. Poon, published in 2005 and 2008 by Chiu Chang Publishing Company and Canotta Publishing Company Limited, respectively. He also coauthored Linear Algebra with C. I. Chu, published in 2006 by the McGraw-Hill Companies.
