Vlado Spiridonov

Vlado Spiridonov received a Ph.D. degree in meteorology at the Department of Meteorology, Faculty of Physics, Belgrade University, Serbia, in 2002. After general scientific studies (major meteorology) at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Institute of Physics in Skopje, Macedonia, he specialized in meteorology and received an M.S degree in meteorology at the Department of Meteorology, Faculty of Physics, Belgrade University, in Belgrade, Serbia. In 1990, he started his career at Hydrometeorological Service, the Macedonian National Hydrometeorological Service, as a Researcher Adviser at the Development Department. From 2004 to 2006, Spiridonov was the Director General of the Hydrometeorological Service in Macedonia and Permanent Representative for Republic of Macedonia with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). Since 2004, he has been an Honorary Invited Lecturer at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Institute of Physics-Meteorology in Skopje, Macedonia, for the subjects analysis and weather prediction and practical examinations of synoptic meteorology. Since April 2007, he has become an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics, Institute of Physics-Meteorology, and in the Hydrometeorological Service, he is the Head of the International Relations Department.
