Francisco R. Villatoro

Francisco R. Villatoro has a M.E. degree in computer science (University of Malaga, Malaga, Spain, 1992), a M.S. degree in physics (UNED, Madrid, Spain, 1993), and a Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics (University of Malaga, Spain, 1998), and currently he is Associate Professor (Professor Titular) at the Mechanical Engineering School (E.T.S. Ing. Industriales) of the University of Malaga, Spain. He teaches computational engineering to graduate mechanical engineers and bioinformatics to undergraduate biochemistry students. His current research interests are computational physics, computational mathematics, and numerical analysis. His emphasis is on nonlinear waves, solitons, and pattern formation.
