Rodrigo F. S. Salazar

Rodrigo F. S. Salazar was born in Rio de Janeiro in November 1982. Nowadays Salazar lives in Santa Maria, RS, Brazil. Salazar received a B.S. degree in biochemical engineering at the School of Engineering of Lorena USP, Brazil, 2006; an M.S. degree in chemical engineering at University of Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil, 2009; and a Ph.D. degree in science with emphasis on analytical chemistry at Federal University of Sao Carlos, Sao Carlos, SP, Brazil, 2013. Salazar has experience in chemical engineering with emphasis on wastewater treatment and chemistry with emphasis on analytical chemistry. Salazar has publications on the following topics: atomic absorption spectrometry, trace elements, ICP-MS, physicochemical characterization, advanced oxidative processes (AOPs), and wastewater treatment. Salazar was a Member of the Municipal Council for Food Security and Nutrition Sustainable Cruz Alta, RS, Brazil (from 2012 to 2013). Nowadays Salazar serves as an Assistant Research Professor at Franciscan University (UNIFRA) and Franciscan University of Steubenville, Steubenville, OH, USA, and Assistant Professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS), Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, in the area of sciences and technology.
