Eduardo Mendes Ramos

Eduardo Mendes Ramos holds a degree in food engineering from the Federal University of Vicosa (UFV), Vicosa, MG, Brazil, with the M.S. and D.S. degrees in food science and technology from the same university. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), Lavras, MG, Brazil, and an Assistant Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Food Science (PPGCA). He is a Reviewer for several journals and coauthor of three books in the field of meat and meat products. Professor Ramos has experience in the area of food science and technology with an emphasis on technology of animal products, mainly in the following themes: meat science, meat quality, meat processing, and food safety technology.
