Xielin Liu is Professor in School of Management, Director of Research Center of Management of Innovation and Strategy, Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Science, Shijingshan, Beijing, China. He is a Vice-President of Chinese Association of Science and Technology.He was born in September 25, 1957, Zhejing, China. He received an B.S. degree from Peking University, Beijing, China, 1982, an M.S. degree from Chinese Academy of Science, China, and a Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1994. From February of 1995 to August of 1995, he was a Visiting Fellow in Sloan School of Management, MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA. From December of 2004 to Feb of 2005, he was a Visiting Professor in Hitochibashi University of Japan, Tokyo, Japan. From September to December of 2006, he was a visiting professor in Stockholm School of Economics. From November to December of 2010, he was Pacific Leadership Fellow in University of California, San Diego, Calif, USA. From April of 1994 to Sept. of 1996, he was an Assistant Professor in Tsinghua University. From October 1996 to June of 2006, he was a Professor in National Research Center for S&T for Development, Ministry of Science and Technology. His research areas mainly cover innovation policy, management of technology and innovation, and management of entrepreneurship.
