Azura Mohd Noor

Azura mohd Noor has obtained the first degree (degree in science; microbiology) from University Science of Malaysia, Georgetown, Pulau Penang, Malaysia, 2003, followed by Diploma in medical microbiology in 2008 and M.S. degree in biomedical science (public health) in 2012. Noor is working as a Researcher at Institute for Medical Research (IMR), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Noor has nine years experiences in research fields including serology, molecular epidemiology, and conventional identification of bacteria. Noor's research interest is studying bacterial properties of Burkholderia pseudomallei, and the previous M.S. degree project was on molecular epidemiology on Burkholderia pseudomallei using PFGE and RAPD analysis. Noor has published a manuscript on molecular epidemiology of B. pseudomallei in South East-Asia Public Health Journal in 2011.
