Shubo Deng

Shubo Deng received his Ph.D. degree from the Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA, in 1999, and then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, from 1999 to 2001. He is currently working at the Environmental School, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. After that, he joined the National University of Singapore, Singapore, as a Research Fellow, from 2001 to 2005, conducting the research about trace pollutant removal. In 2005, he joined Tsinghua University. He mainly focuses on novel adsorbent preparation for pollutant removal from water or wastewater, emerging contaminant control technology, and CO2 adsorption. He published more than 80 peer‐reviewed papers and applied for 16 patents. In 2007, he was listed in the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University by the Ministry of Education. He served as the Management Member in Adsorption Groups at the International Water Association. Currently, Professor Deng serves as the responsible Editor of the Frontier of Environmental Science and Engineering and on Editorial Board of Global Journal of Environmental Science and Technology and The Scientific World Journal.
