Jörg Daumann has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the University Hospital of Cologne, Germany, since 2006. He is the Head of the Research Group for Experimental Psychiatry. Daumann obtained his Diploma in psychology (University of Bonn, Germany) in 1998 and his Ph.D. degree in psychology (University of Bielefeld, Germany) in 2002. From 1998 to 2003, he worked as a Junior Scientist at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the University Hospital of Aachen, Germany. From 2003 to 2006, he was a Senior Scientist at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University of Cologne, Germany. He has published several peer-review articles on the neuropsychopharmacology of MDMA, amphetamines, cannabis, DMT, and ketamine. He is an Ad Hoc Reviewer for a large quantity of highly ranked journals in the field of addiction, psychiatry, and neuroscience (e.g., Addiction, Archives of General Psychiatry, Biological Psychiatry, BMC Neuroscience, Brain, Drug and Alcohol Dependence, European Addiction Research, Neuroimage, Neuropsychopharmacology, Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, Psychopharmacology).
