Yuan Lu

Yuan Lu was born in Liaoning, China, in 1981. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Liaoning Normal University, Dalian, Liaoning, China, in 2000 and 2004, respectively, and her Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Dalian University of Technology, Liaoning, China, in 2010. From 2010 to 2012, she was a Lecturer at the Shenyang University, Liaoning, China. Since 2012, she has been working as an Associate Professor at Shenyang University. Her research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Her research interest includes mathematical programming, optimization algorithm design and analysis, and operations research. Lu has several scholarly contributions such as “A decomposition method with redistributed subroutine for constrained nonconvex optimization,” “A decomposition algorithm for convex nondifferentiable minimization with errors,” “An approximate decomposition algorithm for convex minimization,” “VU-decomposition method for a second-order cone programming problem,” “A superlinear space-decomposition algorithm for constrained nonsmooth convex program,” and “The VU-decomposition to the proper convex function.”
