Marie-Christine Bacchus-Montabonel works as a Senior Researcher at CNRS, France. She holds a Ph.D. degree in quantum chemistry. Her research interests include radiation action on biomolecular systems: ion interactions, ion sources; dynamics of excited states of complex systems, nonadiabatic interactions; computational chemistry for modelling space chemistry: radiative and collisional processes; molecular gas phase chemistry; and early universe chemistry. Her recent publications include the following: "Identification and characterisation of the MgO2+ dication in the gas phase: electronic states, spectroscopy and atmospherical implications," R. Linguerri, M. Hochlaf, M.C. Bacchus-Montabonel, M. Desouter-Lecomte, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 15, 824 (2013); "A kinetic database for astrochemistry (KIDA)," V. Wakelam, E. Herbst, J.-C. Loison, I.W.M. Smith, V. Chandrasekaran, B. Pavone, N.G. Adams, M.C. Bacchus-Montabonel, et al., The Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series, 199, 21 (2012); "Charge transfer processes from low to intermediate energies," M.C. Bacchus-Montabonel, Astronomische Nachrichten, 333, 292 (2012).
