Olga I. Giouleme

Olga I. Giouleme was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1966. She received a degree in medicine and the Ph.D. degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1990 and 2003, respectively. She received the title of Specialist in gastroenterology in 1999. From 1999 to 2002, she was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Department of Internal Medicine and Liver Transplantation Unit, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 2002 to 2007, she served as a Consultant in gastroenterology at the same department. Since 2007, she works as a Lecturer in gastroenterology at the same department. She is also working as a Scientific Collaborator and as a Consultant of Liver Transplantation Unit of General Hospital Hippokration of Thessaloniki since 2002. She is mainly interested in IBD (intestinal bowel diseases), liver diseases, and liver transplantation. She is a Member of Hellenic Gastroenterology Society, Hellenic Association for the study of the liver, and Hellenic Transplantation Society andHellenic Association for the study of IBD. She is also a Member of European Crohn’s and Colitis Organization (ECCO).
