Ana Paula Junqueira-Kipnis

Ana Paula Junqueira-Kipnis graduated in Veterinary Medicine, Federal University of Goias (1989), obtained her M.S. degree in immunology from the University of São Paulo (1991), and received the Ph.D. degree in immunology from the University of São Paulo (1998). From 2001 to 2003, she was awarded a Postdoctoral period at Colorado State University, USA, and she was a Fellow of the NIH. She works currently as an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Goias and as a Reviewer of many journals such as Animal Science Brasileira, Brazilian Journal of Microbiology, Journal Of Infectious Diseases, Biomedical Center infectious diseases, Clinical and Vaccine Immunology, and Vaccine. She has committee memberships in outer PIBIC, UFMT, UCG, and FIOCRUZ BAHIA. She served as a Project Consultant at NIH. She has experience in immunology, with emphasis in applied immunology, acting on the following topics: mycobacterium tuberculosis, ELISA, experimental infection, vaccination, flow cytometry, and mice.
