Amin M. Abbosh received the MSc in communication systems and PhD in microwave engineering in 1992 and 1996 respectively, and the Grad Cert in Higher Education in 2008. He now carries the prestigious ARC Future Fellowship in the school of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Queensland, Australia. He leads a group of research officers and PhD students on designing different passive microwave devices for wideband applications and microwave imaging for medical applications. He authored about 200 papers on wideband passive microwave devices (filters, phase shifters, power dividers, couplers, correlators, multi-port devices, multiband antennas, ultra-wideband antennas), and microwave-based imaging systems for medical applications.
